Dr. Tanginika S. Cuascud is a clinical sexologist, sexual health educator and surrogate partner therapy facilitator. She is the founder and principal of Texas Sexual Health and a health provider at Renewal Medical Centers of North Texas in Dallas. Currently, Dr. Tanginika is a member of the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM), a sexual health ambassador of the American Sexual Health Association and a member of the World Association on Sexual Health (WAS). She is also the Vice President of the Veterans Job Project and sits on the medical board of the Veterans Resource Network, which focuses on offering support to US Veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI) and military sexual trauma (MST). She has been the resident sexologist for Univision Dallas/Fort Worth, offered health commentary for Telemundo  and has been a sexual health contributor for many publications, including BabyCenter, Mamiverse, Voxxi and Heart and Soul Magazine. Her expert advice has been featured in Cosmopolitan, The Huffington Post, NBC Latino, and About.com, among others, translated into several languages and published all over the world. She has also reached audiences worldwide as a host and guest on many radio and TV shows.

Dr. Cuascud is a Doctor of Human Sexuality, and a graduate of the International Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. She is a board-certified clinical sexologist by the American College of Sexologists. As a Clinical Sexologist and sexual health consultant, she focuses on assisting individuals, couples and groups of any sexual orientation or gender identity overcome their sexual and intimacy concerns. As a sexual health educator, she has published many articles, conducted research and taught at the university level, in seminars and workshops.

Dr. Cuascud has post-doctoral studies in Neuroscience from Emory University. She also has a doctorate in Business Administration with a major in International Business from Argosy University; an MBA from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and a graduate of the Summer Institute for Future Global Leaders at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Bachelor’s in Arts with a concentration in Management, both from the In Inter American University of Puerto Rico.
